This site is dedicated to the sport of hockey; to the places it is played and to the throngs of fans and players of the game around the world. It is hoped that this will become a repository for hockey stories and images from people across the globe. While we will no doubt be unable to hide our North American (read Canadian) bias, we are here to embrace all cultural manifestations of the game. In time, we would love to have the world's celebrated stars and experts of hockey be among the contributors. But it is particularly the unofficial, the unsung, the unknown and the everyday life and lore of the game that we hope will also become the stuff of HOCKEYSHRINE.com. Welcome to the Shrine.
